We are proud to introduce to you our new restaurant, The Barn! Located on the ground level of our barn building, The Barn is equipped with charming rustic decor, including the very same wheels that were found buried within the grounds of Merrill Farm that have now been repurposed into our beautiful wagon wheel tables! Our wooden square tables, as pictured above, are made from the very same siding that once held together the Merrill’s Sugaring House! This is, quite literally, a trip back in time!
Enjoy a cozy evening with your family, dining right by our field stone wood burning fireplace. Or, wind down with a drink and a meal out on our new outdoor seating area, which overlooks the Saco River with gorgeous views of the mountains! Whatever your preference, the atmosphere The Barn provides is sure to make your night one to remember!
Our farm-to-table concept utilizes the idea of knowing exactly where your food comes from. We team up with local farms around the area to get you the freshest meats, veggies, and cheeses available. Our seasonal foods are delivered weekly, giving us the chance to mix up our offerings regularly to not only suit the focus of our farm partners, but to keep the menu fresh and interesting! To join us for dinner, we ask that you make reservations online or with our front desk staff. We understand that not everyone has a game plan every day, and sometimes life is untimely, so we are open to walk ins as well! Reservations are strongly suggested to dine between 6:30pm – 7:30pm as it is our busiest time.
We are also very proud to introduce our new chef on board, Mr. Michael Beers! Beers was awarded the 2015 title “Chef of the Year” by the White Mountains chapter of the American Culinary Federation at the chapter’s 37th annual event “Taste of New Hampshire.” He also was recently named private chef for Brad Keselowski Racing in Statesville, NC. Way to go, Mike! Along with him is Mr. Joseph Woods. They sure are a dynamic duo!
